Advertising/Solicitation Policy

It is the policy of TAKE ACTION! Publishing, the 2010 Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour and its parent company, Create-A-Book Baltimore, to advertise and market its events through email, fax and online social marketing sites. TAKE ACTION! Publishing, the 2010 Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour and its parent company, Create-A-Book Baltimore obtains email addresses and fax numbers for its broadcast faxes and emails from the recipient's own directory, website and/or email advertisements.

TAKE ACTION! Publishing, the 2010 Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour and its parent company, Create-A-Book Baltimore also uses other sources of information compiled by third parties. When doing so, it checks the websites to determine if the third party source has listed that that the recipient does not accept unsolicited advertisements at the fax number in question. If there is no notice and/or mention on the site regarding this policy, then TAKE ACTION! Publishing, the 2010 Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour and its parent company, Create-A-Book Baltimore will continue sending the recipient faxes and/or emails unless the recipient calls to request removal from our email and/or fax list.

TAKE ACTION! Publishing, the 2010 Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour and its parent company, Create-A-Book Baltimore adheres to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules and the Junk Fax Prevention Act.

The rules provide that fax advertisements may be sent to recipients with whom the sender has an established business relationship (EBR) or the sender:

(1) obtains the fax number directly from the recipient, through for example, an application, contact information form or membership renewal form;

(2) obtains the fax number from the recipient's own directory, advertisement or site on the Internet unless the recipient has noted on such materials that it does not accept unsolicited advertisements at the fax number in question; or

(3) has taken reasonable steps to verify that the recipient consented to have the number listed, if obtained from a directory or other source of information compiled by a third party.
